voboard is a voice workspace for iPhone and Mac. on your phone it's a keyboard: say it in English, the way it comes out. it lands in Hinglish, the way they text, right in the chat you're in. English again for the next chat is one tap.
open voboard, allow OpenAI sharing, and start a session. switch back yourself; later takes stay in your chat while the session is active.
you said: “um, running like fifteen late, no wait, twenty. can we do seven thirty?”
tap. say it in English. tap again.
tap the Hinglish chip on the voboard keyboard. it's a choice per message, not a setting you're stuck with.
the way it comes out. correct yourself, trail off. the ums and the no-waits never reach their phone.
it lands in Hinglish where your cursor is. casual or formal, and lowercase is a separate switch. send it or tweak it.
one voice. whoever's reading.
Hinglish where they text in Hinglish, English where they don't.
you said: “are we still on for tonight? let's meet at, uh, eight, at the usual place”
you said: “mom, did you eat? and send me the photos from the wedding”
you said: “um, can you send me the deck before the call, like by four”
prefer Devanagari? pick Hindi instead of Hinglish. would rather speak Hindi? speak Hindi, send English.
more than a keyboard
say it. shape it. keep it.
the keyboard is one part of voboard. what you say stays in your history, with notes, a scratchpad and snippets beside it, and they follow your account. in the Mac beta, a shortcut writes into the field you're in, and the same choice sends it out in Hinglish.
the Mac app is in beta, by invite. see the workspace · about the mac beta.
on the free plan, your voice stays on your iPhone.
English speech becomes text on your iPhone (iOS 26 or later), with the built-in styles and 50 rewrites a day. voboard pro adds cloud speech (before iOS 26, and in other languages), screenshot replies, and your own styles.
after you allow OpenAI sharing in the app, the transcript goes through our service to OpenAI for the rewrite. we do not log that request. saved history syncs with your account, and OpenAI may retain data under its policy. more on the privacy page.
